About The Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation

The Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation is a small non-profit foundation founded in 2007 with a huge mission… to help individuals here, as well as abroad who are in need but do not have the financial resources or means to meet those needs.

The Foundation all came about because of the circumstances that started in1992, when Ella (the founder and CEO’s) son, Phillip, was diagnosed at the tender young age of fourteen with the dreadful disease of renal failure. Phillip spent two years on medication in hopes the disease would go into remission. His treatment moved forward to five years on kidney dialysis. Later, Phillip received a kidney transplant. Three years later, Phillip passed on one month before his college graduation due to complications from double pneumonia caused by a fungus in his lung.

Phillip’s life touched many families across this great nation. His life inspired us to become active in easing the burden of external challenges for families faced with this dreadful disease as the medical community continues to search for a cure. On behalf of the Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation, we want you to know you are not alone.

Thus, The Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation was originally founded to help parents and families across the nation whose children suffer from renal failure or chronic kidney disease with social and financial aid. But, since the inception of The Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation, it has also been reaching out world wide in helping others who have desperate needs as well.

While we support some projects only one time, most of our projects are on-going projects we continue to support. We also continue to look into possible future projects to support as we become aware of them and make them known to our supporters.

All projects we support have strict guidelines that must be adhered to. Before the Foundation begins to support any project, our CEO and founder, Ella Waldrup, personally visits and vets the organization to determine if there really is a need and how the funds will be used. Once Ella is satisfied with the vetting process, she determines the amount of funds the Foundation will commit to based upon financial support of its donors. After a commitment is made, the organization we are supporting MUST present photos and/or receipts where the funds went before any additional funds will be released. Doing so makes sure that the funds are going to where our commitment is and not into the pockets of others.

The Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation is an organization built upon integrity, and becomes a clearinghouse for individuals who wish to help humanity, but do not have the time or resources to verify if other organizations are truly helping those with the funds they say they are. When you give to the Phillip J. Waldrup Foundation, you can be assured that your donations are going where we say they are going.

Please help us help others that are in need. As Phillip’s life has touch many others, your financial support and prayers are much needed and can make a difference in touching the lives of others.

Please give what you can today. Those who we support thank you for your generous financial and prayer support.
